Cancer Support Group for Men (CSG4Men)
There will be a Men's Group meeting on Wednesday 21st February 2024 from 2pm till 3.30pm. If you would like to have a chat before coming to any of our meetings then please email Malcolm at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a discussion about the Centre.
MONDAYS - The Centre is staffed with two volunteers morning and afternoon. Keeping members safe in the Centre is the responsibility of us all. If you are feeling at all unwell then please do not come to the Centre. Many of our members have low immune systems and are more vulnerable to viruses etc.
WEDNESDAY Men's Group meetings are held every month on a Wednesday afternoon between 2 - 3.30pm. The dates for 2024 have been published at: www.nhcisc.org/mens-group.html
THURSDAYS - Our Thursday therapy sessions continue as normal.
Cancer Care Web Site. New web site for details about cancer support services, particularly useful for national charities. The NHCISC has been added to their database. Web address is: www.cancercaremap.org/
Courses at Maggie's Centre - Inverness .
A list of these courses can be found at: www.maggies.org/our-centres/maggies-highlands/timetable/ or on our web site under the heading courses and training
The centre relies heavily on its volunteers. The more volunteers we have reduces the pressure on a few. If you, or someone you know, would like to volunteer at the centre then please contact a member of the committee to learn more. You may have a skill set that is not provided for at this time so why not have a chat to tell us what you can offer. We look forward to hearing from you :-)
