Centre Manager
We are now looking for a Centre Manager at the NHCISC
Centre Manager – Part time 15 hours per week.
Salary: £18,200(pro-rata)
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with good communication skills to support the management committee in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the centre; this includes supporting the volunteers to fulfil their role and helping develop the existing service. Duties will include being responsible for delivering effective administrative and financial systems. Standard hours of work will be 15 hours per week, normally works within the opening hours of the centre. No qualifications are necessary but experience in team management and good computer skills are essential.
The North Highland Cancer Information & Support Centre opened at 5a High Street Thurso in May 2008. It is a small independent charity run by a management committee and dedicated team of trained volunteers to provide emotional support to those affected by cancer. The drop-in centre is open 3 days week and at the present time has an average footfall per month of 150 users.
